As you all know that Nepal is the country of diversity. Nepal is great and beautiful country. Also from the climatic point of view all season are found here in Nepal. Nepalese people have the feeling of relegious tolerance.
People in this country lives with harmony and every person have there own right for the religion.

Dashain is the longest and the most auspicious festival in the Nepalese annual calendar, celebrated by Nepalese of all caste and creed throughout the country.Usually this festival is treated as mutual coperation among the family, near once. In this festival,all the family members gather together and the seniors put the tika an juniors and give blessing to them.

Dashain commemorates a great victory of the gods over the wicked demons.In preparation for Dashain every home is cleansed and beautifully decorated, painted as an invitation to the mother goddess, so that she may visit and bless the house with good fortune. Every Nepali is enthused by the prospects of joy that this festival is supposed to bring with it. The change of mood is also induced psychologically by the turn of autumn season after a long spell of monsoon, introducing clear and brilliant days, an azure blue sky and a green carpet of fields, the climate is also just ideal at this time, it is neither too cold nor too warm.This is also the best time for trekking all over Nepal to see the jigantic himalyas on the Northron part and the and wild life and Jungle safari On the Plain on the south.

The Nepalese cherish their Dashain as time for eating well and dressing well. Each house sets up an shrine to worship the Goddess at this time.
Barley seeds are planted on the first day in every household and nurtured for nine days. During this period Goddess Durga Bhawani is worshipped and offered a lot of blood sacrifices. Buffaloes, cats, chickens and ducks are killed by the thousands at the temples at military posts and in every household.

After receiving the blessing of goddess Durga, people are ready to work and acquire virtue, power and wealth. Dashain thus is not only the longest festival but also the most anticipated one among all the festivals of Nepal.
